The Perfect Lip Combo | Mac

If you have read my blog for a while now you will know I am a lover of pink nudes and sometimes I feel like thats all I go on about but I have finally jumped on a bandwagon which I should of jumped on ages ago and got my self Mac's lip liners in the shade 'Soar'. I have seen everyone raving about this for months as I think if I'm right its one of the shades that Kylie Jenner wears.

The lipliner pairs so well with my all time favourite Mac lipstick Brave and I have been wearing this combo most days now and I love it! I love using the lipliner as I can define my lips just that little bit more and I find my lipstick lasts so much longer! If you are looking for a new pink nude lip combo I would recommend you try this one out!

Hope you enjoyed todays post I will see you in my next one!

Autumn Edit | Go To Makeup

I know that autumn is nearly over and we are finally getting ready for winter as Christmas is just round the corner. As the seasons change I don't really mix up my makeup that much the main things that change are the colours of the lipstick and blush I wear and I usually go for more of a matte base than glowy skin, I like to save that for spring/summer.

For the a matte base I have found a new primer which I have been loving! It is the Soap and Glory One Heck of A Blot primer I love the powder of this and I am so glad that the primer lives up to how good the powder is! I love using this under the Loreal Paris Infallible foundation, I love this foundation as it is really high coverage and it is also such a reasonable price. To conceal I have been using the Maybelline New Year Age Rewind I'm not a massive fan of the sponge applicator but I do love the product itself, it's a really nice coverage and it surely does erase my dark circles! To set that all in place I am still loving an old favourite of mine which is the Rimmel London Stay Matte powder I have loved this powder for years now, it just does such a good job of keeping everything in place and making sure my face stays matte!

I have discovered a new favourite eyeliner and I feel like I have finally found the perfect one (well for now I have) I have been loving the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner for the past few weeks now! It is so easy to use and is so black and it does actually stay on ALL day without smudging which is just great! If you haven't tried this yet I recommend that you do! I like to keep things pretty simple on the eyes and just go for a winged eyeliner look with a bit of mascara I also like to blend some bronzer through my crease just to add a little more definition.

To add in some autumn tones into my makeup look I have been going for a darker lip, I have been loving the shade 430 from Loreal Paris its just a deep red which is matte so its great for this time of year!

Hope you enjoyed todays post and you should let me know what products you long for autumn/winter!

Autumn Fashion Favourites

I thought I'd share a few of my autumn fashion favourites. Autumn is one of my favourite seasons for fashion, I love big coats and checkered scarfs. So firstly I am going to talk about the lovely checkered scarf I got from New Look. I love added checkered scarfs to all black outfits as it adds a touch of colour to my outfit. I love wearing this scarf with a denim jacket or a long black jacket.

I have also been loving loafers this season. I got these ones from Topshop a few weeks ago and I have been loving them! (even though they kill my feet) They look so nice with a pair of high waisted jeans and a white shirt. Another pair of shoes I have been loving have been these black boots from Public Desire, now these are the comfiest pair of boots I have ever owned! I love how they add a little bit of heal and add a bit more than flats to the outfit. To tie up my outfit I have been loving my Kate Spade bag, I got this for my birthday in July and have been in love with it ever since! It's the Kate Spade Cedar Street Small Hayden and I added a cute pom pom from Topshop.

Hope you enjoyed today's post! Let me know what your fashion favourites are for autumn!

Homeware Wishlist | H&M

So I have recently moved house and want to change the decor in my room. I am planning on going on the colour scheme grey, pink and copper/gold. I have noticed that H&M has the nicest range called 'A Tough Of Blush' in at the moment and I want nearly everything from this range, so I thought I'd share some of my favourite products from the collection.

I really want to add a touch of colour to my bed my using decorative cushions. I love these three as they will add a bit more colour to the white or grey bedding I will be using. I love candles so I really want to get some lanterns to put some really tall candles in. I also love the glass candle dome it adds just a hint of gold and is so pretty! As I love candles I really want to get the candle on the bottom row as it also adds a hint of gold to my room!

I will make sure I do a room tour post once I've completely finish my room! Hope you enjoyed todays post!

Monthly Makeup Favourites | October 2015

It's that time of the month again where I share my makeup favourites with you all! There are a lot of products I have mentioned before featuring in this most so I'm just going to briefly share my favourites with you! The products included in this post are basically the products I've been using this month on an everyday basis.

I have been loving my MAC Pro Palette lately, I've been creating so many different looks by using this palette nearly everyday. My favourite shades have got to be naked lunch, satin taupe and omega! I have also found a new mascara and I love it! It's the Loreal Paris Feline, its great at separating the lashes and really lengthening them as well! I am also still loving the Toyshop Magic Line as well, although I've been using black eye shadow to line my lashes.

I have also been using the Barry M Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit as well, I have been using this nearly everyday and I love how easy it is to contour with! To highlight I have been loving the Benefit Watts Up highlighter, this is probably my all time favourite highlighter!

Hope you enjoyed todays post! Let me know what you have been loving this month!

Smash box Shape Matters Palette | Review

So I recently got the Smashbox Shape Master Palette and I have got to say I think this is one of my favourite palettes that I own. I was lucky enough to get this when it was half price on an introductory offer at Boots. I couldn't pass up on the deal.
The palette includes 2 brow powders and a brow wax, I tend to use the light brow powder as it matches my brows better. I love the combination of the wax and powder as it helps the powder to stay in place all day!

The palette also includes a contour, bronzer, highlighter and glow powders. I love the shades of the contour and bronzer as they match my skin tone so well as they are pretty light. The texture of all four of these powders are so buttery and smooth I love the way they apply to the skin and blend beautifully. I am involve with the powder which is labeled 'glow' the picture doesn't pick up how beautiful it is but its such a nice champagne coloured highlighter.

The palette also has nine eyeshadows which are all so pretty. I love this palette because you can do so many different looks with it! The shadows are so pigmented and so easy to blend and when I used it I didn't really get much fall out either. A double ended brush also came in the palette and its so good for blending out eyeshadow.

Thanks for reading todays post! See you in my next one..

I'm All About That Base | Foundation Routine

I thought I would share my foundation routine with you all today, as I have changed a few things. Starting off with my primer, I like to use a primer as it creates an even base for foundation. It also makes foundation last that little bit longer as well. My all time favourite primer is The Body Shop Insta Blur, this primer really does help to smooth out the skin before applying foundation.

I have been using a new foundation lately which has also featured in my previous post, its the Loréal Paris Infallible 24H Matte Foundation. Lately my skin has been pretty oily so I was on the look out for a matte foundation and I came across this and thought I'd give it a try. I have it in the shade 11 / Vanilla and it's such a good match for my skin tone! The foundation gives a matte look to the skin but does that without looking like you have loads of foundation on. It isn't drying either which I usually find with matte foundations. The foundation also lasts a long time on the skin without being touched up, when touching up I only ever have to pop a bit of powder on around my T-zone. To apply my foundation I use the Real Techniques Buffing brush, I find that this buffs my foundation into my skin and gives a really smooth finish.

To conceal under my eyes I use the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in the shade Fair, this is a great affordable concealer which it pretty high coverage. When I want to conceal any other imperfections I tend to use the Mac Prolong Wear Concealer in the shade NW20. The Prolong Wear Concealer is one of my favourites as it is really high coverage and you only need a tiny amount. It is also really long wearing so it is great for long days and nights out! To blend in my concealer I usually use the Real Techniques Sponge, I spray it with a little bit of Fix+ from Mac and it helps blend my concealer in.

To set that all in place I use the Rimmel London Stay Matte powder. This has been a powder that I always have in my collection and I have only just started using it again! I love this powder as it keeps my foundation set in place and is also matte! To apply my powder I just use a big fluffy brush and use a patting motion to apply my powder as sometimes when you buff the powder in it can move the foundation.

Thanks for reading todays post I hope you enjoyed it! I will see you in my next post..

Monthly Makeup Favourites | September 2015

This month I seem to have rediscovered loads of old favourites as I haven't really brought anything new this month. But I am going to start off talking about a new favourite of mine. I feel like I am the last blogger to try the Loreal Paris Infallible 24H Matte Foundation, I can now see why everyone was raving over this so much. For a drugstore foundation it has really good coverage and it actually stays matte. I have been using the an old favourite of mine which is the Rimmel London Stay Matte powder with it and these two products work great together! I do really want to try the primer that foes with the foundation as I love the foundation!

I have also rediscovered my love for my Chanel Powder blush in the shade Rose Initial, this is one of my favourite blushes I just hadn't used it in ages and started using it again a few weeks ago and I remembered how much I loved this blush! It's great for pale skin as it adds a touch of colour and a tiny bit of simmer.

Hope you all enjoyed today's post! What have you been loving this month? Let me know!

High End Beauty Wishlist

My High End Beauty Wishlist seems to keep getting longer and longer so I thought I would share my most wanted products with you all.

1. Benefit Gimme Brow
The benefit gimme brow has been on my wish list for a few months now. I have seen so many people raving about this and it looks great for making your brows look fuller.

2. Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner
I am in need of a new liquid eyeliner and this one sounds just what I am looking for it apparently stays all day without smudging! I have also heard loads of people rave about this so I really want to try it out!

3. Too Faced Love Flush Long-Lasting Blush
After seeing these all over my Instagram feed for the past few months, it has really made me want one of these blushers. They are so pretty and come in so many amazing shades!

4. Christian Louboutin Lipstick
Of course everyone wants a Christian Louboutin lipstick but I think this will be something that will be staying on my wish list for a pretty long time. All thought these lipsticks are beautiful and the colour range is amazing I don't think I can justify spending £60 on one lipstick.

5. Charlotte Tilbury The Fallen Angel Eyeshadow Palette
I am yet to try anything from Charlotte Tilbury's makeup range but I have had my eye on this palette for a while now and I know I really don't need any more eyeshadow palette but this one is so stunning!

Makeup of the Day | One Direction Concert

So tonight I am off to see One Direction at the O2 Arena so I thought I'd share my makeup with you all! Make sure you are following me on Instagram (chloewrighttt) so you can see how my makeup turned out.

As always for primer I am using The Body Shop Insta Blur, I don't need to rave about this anymore than I have on previous posts but this primer just smooths everything out creating an even base for foundation. It also makes my foundation last a look longer and I don't have to touch up as much throughout the day. For foundation I am using an old favourite which is the Loréal Paris True Match Foundation, you can build this foundation up to a medium coverage very easily. To cover any imperfections and my dark circles I have used the Mac Prolong Wear Concealer, I love how full coverage this concealer is and it stays in place. To set everything in place I have used my favourite powder at the moment which is the Maybelline Fit Me Powder, this just sets everything in place and makes my make last that little bit longer.

For my bronzer/contour I have used the Barry M Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit, just to define my cheek bones a little bit and too add some more colour on my face. For blusher I am using my all time favourite blusher which is the Rockateur from Benefit then to highlight I am using High Beam which is also from Benefit.

For my eyes I am keeping things simple and using the shades Naked Lunch allover the lid and then using Omega and Mulch in the crease to deepen the looks up. I love these Mac eyeshadows as they are really pigmented and don't crease which is great when you are going to a concert as you tend to get hot and don't want your makeup creasing. For Mascara I am using the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara I love this mascara it makes my lashes look so much fuller and really long as well! For brows as always I am using my Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade.

The lipstick I have gone with is my all time favourite nude which is Chanel Coco Shine in the shade 57. It's just a sheer glossy nude which goes really well with the simple eyeshadow.

I hope you enjoyed today's post! Let me know if your going to any concerts soon I'd love to here about it!

Updated | Everyday Makeup

I think it is finally time I update you all on the makeup I've been wearing daily. It hasn't changed to much but there are a few new and different things I have been reaching for more.

For my base I am still loving Benefit Porefessional I have recently started using this again but it has been a product I have loved for ages and I had forgotten how much I liked it! I am still loving the Maybelline Pure Fresh BB Cream which is really long lasting as it is for only skin so it is matte. I am loving using this as I am now back at college and this lasts all day long. To conceal I am using the Mac ProLong Wear concealer I just use this when the coverage from the BB cream isn't just enough. To set that all in place I am still loving the Soap and Glory One Heck of a Blot powder, which I think might be my all time favourite powder. I really need to pick up another one of these as I have majorly hit pan.

To contour I have been using the Master Sculpt from Maybelline I have finally found a contour shade that isn't to orange for me yippee! For blush I have rediscovered my Benefit Rockateur Blush I haven't used this in ages but I have fallen back in love with this blush. For highlight I am either using the powder highlight that comes in the Master Sculpt which is a loving champagne shade with flecks of shimmer, or I am using the Benefit Watts Up Highlighter which is a creamy champagne highlighter. I love the cream highlighter when I am going for a more dewy look.

On my eyes I am still loving the whole winged eyeliner look so I just use my Topshop Magic Liner which stays in place all day and is super black! For mascara I have been using the Urban Decay Perversion Mascara which I am loving it stays in place theres no smudging or flaking it just stays put. It also holds a curl and makes my lashes look super long!

Lastly on my lips I have been loving Brave Lipstick from Mac which I forgot to put in the photo but I have been wearing it loads! I have also been loving a lip liner from Essence Cosmetics in the shade 07 / Cute Pink I love this shade as it is a darker pink that what I would usually go for but I have really been liking it lately!

Hope you all enjoyed this post! Make sure you let me know what some of the products you use daily are! See you in my next post!

Monthly Makeup Favourites | August 2015

Hello again! Sorry for the lack of posts in the last week I was on holiday so I thought I'd take a little break from blogging so I could get back in the swing of things as soon as I got back. So I thought it's about time I shared my monthly makeup favourites with you all. I cannot believe that it is nearly September already which means back to college in a few days!:(

The Urban Decay Naked Smokey palette was released earlier this month and I have used it so much. Whether I am creating a day time or night time eye look. I feel like you can use the palette to create so many different types of smokey eye looks. Another palette I have been loving is this blush/bronze/highlight palette from Freedom I love this palette the colours are all amazing and so pigmented! I love using the light champagne colour to highlight!

I have also been loving Brave lipstick from Mac I have been reaching for it so much over this month. I think it might be one of my new favourite lipsticks. I also have been loving the Maybelline Fit Me powder its great for setting makeup and keeping that shine away but it also had a little bit more coverage as well.

What have your favourites been other the past month? Hope you enjoyed this post and I'll see you next time!

Review | Urban Decay Naked Smokey

I know by now there are millions of posts about the Urban Decay Naked Smoky palette but I just had to share my thoughts on this beautiful palette over here on my blog. I know this palette was released a couple of weeks ago but I wanted to be able to use it a few times before giving a full review on it. I am so happy to finally have the Naked Smoky Palette ever since I heard about it I have been waiting to get my hands on it!

Just like the other Naked Palettes this is also long and rectangular but the packing is different as it is plastic. Personally this is my favourite packaging of the Naked Palettes I just think it looks really slick and cool. The palette also comes with a brush just like the others but instead of having a flat end on the brush it has more of a tapered brush so you can blend the eye shadows out and get that smokey look. Unlike the other palettes the shades do not go light-dark they go light on both ends and meet dark shades in the middle.

The Smoky palette has 4 matte shades and the rest are glittery/shimmery. The one thing I love about this palette is that even though its a palette aimed towards Smoky looks you can create wearable smokey looks as well as really dramatic looks. The look I have been going for lately has been taking the shade High all over the lid and then using the shades Combust Whiskey in the crease.

I think out of all the Naked palette so far and that I own this one is my favourite. I know thats a bold statement to make but I just love this palette and the shadows blend beautifully and there isn't much of a fall out either which is great! I now just need to get the first Naked Palette then my collection with be complete!

Hope you have enjoyed todays post! Let me know what your favourite Naked palette is.

What's In My Travel Makeup Bag

I am going on holiday this week so I thought I'd share the makeup I'm going to be taking away with me. I've tried to keep my makeup bag pretty light as I don't tend to go all out of makeup whilst on holiday so I have just packed a few of my favourite things.

For my base I am keeping things pretty light with a BB Cream, I have gone with the Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream in the shade Light this is great for summer/holiday as it has an SPF in it and it's nice and light on the skin so it doesn't feel like I'm wearing a ton of makeup. For primer I have gone with The Body Shop Insta Blur I love this primer it's been a favourite of mine for a long time now! I am also taking the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer in the shade Light to conceal any dark circles or blemishes that appear.

For my contour/bronzer, blush and highlight I am taking my Nars Virtual Domination Palette, this palette has everything I need so it's easy to pop in my makeup bag and it also has a great mirror I can use. For my brows I am taking my trusty Anastasia Beverly Hills DipBrow Pomade as it is my favourite brow product and I never seem to reach for anything else.

For eyes I am taking my Mac quad with the shades Naked Lunch, All That Glitters, Omega and Mulch. With those shades I can create a neutral smokey eye which is what I tend to go for on an everyday basis. Along with my Mac quad I love wearing winged eyeliner so I am taking my Loreal Paris Super Line. For Mascara I am taking the Maybelline Lash Sensational Waterproof mascara.

For my lip options I am taking Mac Brave for a pink/nude and Chanel Lip Gloss in the shade 179 which is more of a peachy coral shade.

Hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know if you are going on/have been on holiday anywhere this summer!

Boots Haul

I know this is my second haul and we aren't even half way through this month but I have just been doing a lot of shopping lately and I thought I'd share what I recently got from Boots. (I really need to go on a spending ban) I suppose it wasn't too bad as everything I got was on some sort of offer!

Soap and Glory had the offer that when you buy one thing you get another half price so I picked up two of the 'Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Sticks' in the shades Pink-A-Boo and Nudist. These are so glossy and look so good on the lips. Pink-A-Boo is such a lovely pink shade which complements the lips beautifully and Nudist is the perfect nude for me. I really love these, there is three more shades in the collection so I might have to go back to boots to pick those up!

Maybelline had a deal on that you can get two products for £10 so I got the Fit Me powder and concealer. I have tried out the powder and the colour looks great I got it in the shade 120 / Classic Ivory. I also got the concealer in the lightest shade but it looks a little orange on me but maybe when I've got a bit more of a tan it will match better to my skin.

Lastly I got the Real Techniques Bold Metals Tapered Blush Brush which is number 300. I have wanted to get a brush so this collection for ages but just haven't got round to picking one up and at the moment the Bold Metals collection has 20% off so I thought it would be a good time to get one of these brushes. I really like the brush I have been using it for a combination of blusher and highlighter and I love how soft it is and it is also so pretty.

Hope you enjoyed todays post! I think it is deferentially time for me to go on a spanning ban for a few weeks!

Lush Haul

I was so excited to see that my local Lush store is now stocking some of the Oxford Street products as I have been dying to get my hands on some of these products! I also noticed that Lush have revamped a few of their bubble bars so I also picked up the new version of 'Creamy Candy Bubble Bar' and the 'Rose Jam Bubbleroon' which are two of my all time favourite Lush products.

So the new products I picked up were the Comforter Shower Gel which I am so excited to use as I love the Comforter bubble bar, if you haven't smelt the Comforter bubble bar you need to! It smells just like Ribena and I love it! I also picked up a Frozen Bath Bomb which smells really refreshing I am terrible at describing scents so for full descriptions make sure you go on other to Lush's website! I also picked up the The Experimenter which I can't wait to use in my bath as it has so many amazing colours I can't wait to see what my bath looks like! The experimenter also has popping candy in it so that should be fun! The last bath bomb I got is the Intergalactic this also is such brightly coloured and I can't wait to see how my bath turns out!

Hope you enjoyed todays post! Let me know if you have tried any of the new Lush product and what are your favourite Lush products?

My Go To Nude Lipsticks

I thought I would share my go to nude lipsticks with you all as I am a lover of nude lipsticks especially those pinky nudes. Starting of with my favourite high end nude lipstick this is the Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in the shade 54 Boy, as this a Rouge Coco Shine the lipstick is very sheer but I love nudes that are sheer and glossy.

Moving onto drugstore lipsticks one of my all time favourite nude lipsticks is the Bourjois Paris Shine Edition lipstick in the shade 26 / Beige Démocrachic this lipstick is an amazing drugstore dupe for the Chanel Rouge Coco Shine that I mentioned the shades and finish of the lipstick is so similar they look nearly identical. My next favourite nude lipstick is from Milani and I know Milani is harder to find in the UK but I usually order Milani products from the website beautycrowd.com they have a really good selection of Milani products on their website. I am in love with the Milani lipstick in the shade 26 / Nude Crème this lipstick is more of a satin finish as it is a lot less glossy than the other two I have mentioned this is also more of a lighter pink nude than the other two.

Another one of my go to nude lipsticks is the Loréal Paris Collection Privee in the shade Julianne's Nude this lipstick is one of my all time favourite lipsticks and I always find myself going back to this lipstick. I love the formula of the lipstick and the shade is a lovely peachy pink nude I find that this lipstick looks really nice with a gold and brown smokey eye. My last go to nude lipstick is a new favourite of mine and it is the Kate Moss Lipstick in the shade 45, this is more of a darker nude than the others mentioned but this lipstick is a very close match to my natural lip colour so its one of those my lips but better lipsticks which I love on a simple makeup day. The lipstick is glossy but not too glossy it just leaves a nice sheen to the lips.

Hope you enjoyed todays post! Let me know what your favourite nude lipsticks are!
