Product Review

Dream Touch Blush Review

So recently i have been trying out loads of new products as I find myself always buying the same products and playing it a bit safe with my make-up. When I saw this blush I thought it would be really nice to wear on an everyday purpose as it isn't anything to daring.

So the blush that I have been trying out is the Dream Touch blush by Mayeblline New York in the shade 07. When I looked at this product I really like the colour as I thought it would go well with my pale skin, I then swatched the blush on my hand and I loved the way it blended into my skin it has a really creamy feel to it and at first it looked really nice so I then went and purchased it.

When I was buying this product I didn't notice the amount of glitter and shimmer it had in it. When i got home and was trying it out it made by cheeks look like glitter balls, it was so glittery and shiny.

Later on I had the idea of using the blush as an eye shadow as it is just like a cream shadow, I then tried this out and it works as a really good eyeshadow base and looks really nice and pretty when you put MAC naked lunch eye shadow over the top.

I don't think I will repurchase this product but I will continue to use it as an eye shadow base for now.

hoped you all liked my product review, I'll be updating again on Tuesday. If you have any ideas that you would like be to do a post about please comment I am always in need of ideas!

LONDON FASHION WEEKEND 2013

So as you all know I attended London Fashion Weekend on Saturday 21st September, and it was such an amazing experience I would really like to attend more events like these. But anyways in my last post I talked about all the wonderful beauty products I got there, so if you haven't read that blog post please do! As this is my part 2 of the blog posts this one is going be more about the fashion show and the clothes rather than the make-up.

OOTD - London Fashion Weekend.

 Hat - h&m £7.99
Leather jacket - h&m £29.99
Top - Topshop £18
Skirt - Topshop £20
Bag (you can't really see it) - The Cambridge Satchel Company £105
Boots - Topshop £45

The fashion show that I went to was at 2pm none of the shows really had names as they used a number of brands instead of just one. The four collections that were included in the show were called Pretty in Pink, Back To Nature, Shape Up and Victoriana.

Pretty in Pink collection.

Back to Nature collection.

 Shape Up collection

Victoriana collection.

Out of all the collections I think the Victoriana collection was my favourite. It was so elegant and classy with the tailored trousers and pretty blouses I just want everything in this collection. Going to my first ever fashion show and being on the front row was an amazing experience. It also made me realise that I really want to work in the fashion industry as a make-up artist, after speaking to one of the shows artist it really inspired me.

hope you all enjoyed my blog post I'll be updating again on Sunday so I'll see you all soon!

LONDON FASHION WEEKEND 2013

Beauty Haul.

PART 1

Okaaaaaay, so for this blog post there is going to be a part 1 and part 2. As this is Part 1 I am going to be doing a little bit of a beauty haul on what i brought while I was at London Fashion Weekend, I will upload the second part later this week and that will be more about the show itself. Hope you enjoy my little ramble on the products I brought on the weekend.

On Saturday 21st September I went to Vodafone London Fashion Weekend, my mum had been lucky enough to win us a pair of VIP tickets for the show. This tickets included a Goodie bag, a Shop and the lot ticket which is your ticket for the shopping part of the event and then front row tickets to one of the fashion shows. In the goodie bags we got there was a slection of cool items including: Maybelline New York, Volum Express, Color Shock Mascara in the shade 'Electric blue' I havent worked out how im going to pull of the blue mascara look, but I'm sure it will come in useful at some point. In the goodie bags we also got a Maybelline New York Color Show in the shade '210 Red Grained'.In the gooide bags there were also some samples of some tea, coffee, hair products and some beauty sweets. I think the tote bag that all the goodies came in was stunning the colours are really vibrant and the big cheetah print is stunning.

There were so many different brands at London Fashion Weekend you could buy anything from sunglasses to underware. One brand that perticaully stood out to me was Mayblline New York and they were proably the busiest brand there. Mayblline had these fantastic boxes that you could buy for just £10 each box had a different look in it. There were 4 to choose from and i decided to buy my two favourite the products that I got were 3 Color Show nail polishes in the shades: 77 NEBLINE, 191 ORANGE FIX & 677 BLACKOUT. I also got a 'Dream Touch Blush' in the shade '07 BERRY', there was also two mascaras the 'Mega Plush Volum' Express' and 'The Rocket Volum' Express. I was so happy that one of the boxes encluded the Rocket mascara because that is one of my all time favourites! Another one of the products I got was the Super Stay 24 hour waterproof powder, I really like this powder but the shade that was in the box is to dark for me, but I will be re-buying this powder in a lighter shade. I also got one of the new Brow Drama (sculpting brow mascara) I have it in the shade dark brown and at first I was thinking that it would be way to dark but it actaully leaves my brows a really nice colour and a lot more full, another product I got was the master duo thin or thick glossy eyeliner, this is a really nice eye liner and is so easy to work with as I always find eye liner a little bit of a struggle but this is an all round good product and the last Mayblline product is one of there Baby lips and this is the Hydrate one which is one of my favourite so it is nice to know I have a spare one laying around. Here are some pictures of the products I brought....
